Last weekend we presented Dolores Farrell of Woodlands Edenderry, with a much desired early Christmas Present. Dolores was the top winner of 500 litres of Home Heating oil, just in time for the cold spell.

The announcement marked a close to the three day marathon event in the Bridge Centre Shopping Centre, Tullamore, where we were offering home heating oil at rock bottom prices.

Ferbane Junior C County Champions

The Ferbane Junior C Footballers captured the County Championship in style on Saturday 17th October last when they defeated a spirited Tubber team in Ballycumber. The win ended a drought for the Club who hadn’t won a County at any adult grade for 13 years. The Super “C s ” led from the first ten minutes with early goals and were never in danger. Congratulations to all involved from their main sponsors.
